Senior Spotlight: Tito Contreas

Music is one of the world’s few common grounds that we all share. From North America, Asia, and Europe, we all have a musical influence. The son of Hector and Rosa Contreras, Tito has always had a musical interest. Born on October 27, 1996, Hector Javier Contreras has always had a musical attention. In Guthrie’s Black Box Studio, Tito has been studying music intensely for the past four years. Tito has produced numerous musical projects, such as his own singles and cover albums, and his Facebook and YouTube followings are on the rise. Tito plans on continuing his music education at South Plains, where he will major in Commercial Music. After this, Tito hopes to go to Los Angeles to become a professional musician. When asked about his music future and his idols and he told us, “I want to move to California and be like Calvin Harris. He’s a DJ who makes music, and sometimes sings. He usually collaborates with other artist which I would love to do. I can’t wait to work with Lady Gaga!” Tito, when you are rich and famous, you’ll be remembered in Guthrie, Texas.
