TxConnect
for Parents |
TxConnectGuthrie CSD uses txConnect, an online portal for parents to monitor their child’s grades and attendance via the Internet. Grades and attendance information are protected by law, so we have set up a secure process to allow parents to access the system. Interested parents should come by the GCSD Administrative Office and see Sherri Adams to sign for their username password. Once parents have set up an account in the system they will have access to their child’s grades and attendance from any place where they have internet access.

Internet Safety Guide for Parents
The online world can feel anonymous, and young people sometimes forget that they are still accountable for their actions. Some people online have bad intentions, including bullies, predators, hackers, and scammers. You may be concerned that your kids could find pornography, violence, or hate speech online. You can reduce these risks by talking to your kids about how they communicate—online and off— and encouraging them to engage in conduct they can be proud of. This guide covers what you need to know, where to go for more information, and issues to raise with kids about living their lives online. CLICK HERE to view/print the Internet Safety Guide.
