What is your most memorable moment in high school?
My most memorable moment in high school was creating a gang with my best friends. We all got the name of our gang on our senior rings. #stingergang4life What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? I always get my homework done, but I tend to procrastinate until the end. Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? In 10 years from now, I will probably be working in a big city. I imagine myself living on the outskirts of the city in a house that I had built for my family and me. Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” I could not live without my friends and family. They make my life worth living. Which school tradition are you most proud of? The school tradition I'm most proud of is the senior trip. Coming from a bigger school, I would never get to take a trip like the one I get to take this year. Describe your senior year in three words. Everything I wanted. Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” I will always remember the welcoming feeling Guthrie brought to me when I moved here. I didn't have much time to be nervous the first day because I already felt like I fit in. What are your plans for the future? I plan on getting my master's degree from Angelo State University, then transferring to Texas Tech to get my doctorate's. I'd like to become an anesthesiologist and work in a city. Any advice for the junior class? My advice to the junior class is to have ambition. Never lose confidence in the things you're passionate about because it is likely that those things are what will take you far in life. What is your most memorable moment in high school?
Regional UIL sophomore year. What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? I don’t make excuses. Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? Probably at work or at my house. (assuming I own one.) Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” WiFi or friends. Which school tradition are you most proud of? Always working hard and winning. Describe your senior year in three words. Dang I’m bored. Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” Not remembering. What are your plans for the future? To work at a place I like that makes a good amount of money. Spending time with friends and family while going on trips. Any advice for the junior class? Make sure to get your work done on time and to have fun. What is your most memorable moment in high school?
Going to state cross country my junior year. What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? Continue to ask questions til class is over, or get the teacher off topic. Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? Teaching a rural community as a math teacher. Hopefully starting a family of my own. College, Athletics, Coffee Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” Morning practices. What are your plans for the future? I plan to attend LCU and get my secondary math degree. From there I would like to go teach at a high school. Any advice for the junior class? Fill out scholarships, make your resume now, and have fun. What is your most memorable moment in high school?
Cleaning the school during the summer with Hanna and Ella and getting through those 10 hour days. What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? Saying that I "didn't know how to do it." Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? I imagine myself working my dream job and hopefully having a family of my own. The senior trip Describe your senior year in three words. Hectic, stressful, memorable Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” I will always remember my classmates because I have had to spend the last four years with them. What are your plans for the future? I will be attending Texas Tech University and getting my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology to help children with their speech disorders. Any advice for the junior class? DO NOT wait until March to apply for a dorm. What is your most memorable moment in high school?
Although I dreaded most of them, working the concession stand during a basketball tournament got interesting at some points. Like the time when Rue karate chopped boxes because "it was the most efficient way", or the time when Rachel and I would serenade Momma Reel ;). What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? In Junior High, our class would always try to get our teachers off topic to avoid having homework. It worked for some teachers, and others not so much. Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? Working for a Livestock Nutrition Company, and more than likely going to all of my brother's stockshows. I would like to have a family and my own "life" started, but we will just see where the time takes me. Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” I could not live without my friends and family....especially Maggie ;). Which school tradition are you most proud of? I don't think it's considered a tradition, but I enjoy being able to play dodge ball and kickball with the elementary kids. Describe your senior year in three words. College. Scholarships. Repeat. Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” I will always remember Ladies Night at State UIL, and being really mean to Kaleb. What are your plans for the future? Go to school at Texas Tech and get a degree in Animal Science. From there I would like to become a Livestock Nutritionist and work for a major nutrition company. I would also like to get a Masters from Texas A&M and a Ph.D. from Purdue University. Any advice for the junior class? Everything happens for a reason, so just go with it. What is your most memorable moment in high school?
The most memorable moment in my high school career was when I was told we had made it to state in Cross Country my Junior year. What is your most creative excuse you’ve used to get out of doing homework? Um....Not to give myself away, buttttt....Pretending to forget when it was due.... Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now? I see myself as a successful strong woman. No idea exactly what I will be doing specifically, but I am speaking my success into existence. Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” I could not live without my family. Which school tradition are you most proud of? Our hall way pep rally yell-offs! Describe your senior year in three words. Awarding. *Memorable.* and Exciting! Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…” "I will always remember...all the Fall Productions and Christmas Programs we put on for our community!" and "I will always remember all the early morning 3 miles and getting to run while the sun was rising!" What are your plans for the future? To attend Angelo State University and possibly transfer to Texas State and further my education to a Masters Degree. I want to study for Business Management. This as far as I know at this point! Any advice for the junior class? Do not quit anything! You have one last year just do everything one more time it won't kill you and you won't regret it later down the road. Stay driven and ambitious.
