Guthrie Virtual School continues to receive state-wide and national attention for it's visionary approach to online learning. Most recently, the recognition comes from the ExcelinEd and EducationCounsel, national education policy groups. Guthrie Virtual School has been in operation since 2011. GVS now serves over 850 students across Texas, with 10 teachers. GVS is now the largest provider in Texas Virtual School Network, with approximately 30% of the market share. The Guthrie Jaguars will take on the Richland Springs Coyotes this Saturday, December 5th, at 2:00 pm at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene for the State Semi-Final Championship. Ticket prices will be $8 for adults and $4 for students. That price will get you into two games. Following the Jaguars game, the Crowell Wildcats and the Borden County Coyotes will kick off at 6:00 pm.
