January is school board appreciation month in Texas. The Guthrie Common School District (GCSD) is blessed to have seven dedicated and selfless individuals serving as trustees on the local school board. The GCSD Board members for 2012-13 are: Jay Hurt (President), Travis Adams (Vice-president), Terry Daniel (Secretary), Brenda Jones, Justin Johnson, Terri O'Neal, and Toby Oliver. These fine public servants invest their time, their energy, their thinking, and their leadership (and a fair amount of sleeplessness) in the interest of making GCSD an exemplar among school districts and one that ensures a World Class education for ALL its students. GCSD is proud to acknowledge the work and service of these fine folks.
