On Wednesday, October 15th, the Lady Jags and Jaguars traveled to Rule to compete in the cross country meet. The Lady Jags were in a three way tie with Stamford, and Jayton with 64 points. So to break the tie they went and looked at the 6th place runners. Sadly the Lady Jags lost by one point and ended up 2nd place.
Reagan Maxwell placed 4th with a 14:20, Jaycee McCauley placed 13th with a 15:34, Candace Tarver placed 14th with a 15:41, Gina Cheyne placed 16th with a 16:00, Cait McWhirter placed 17th with a 16:02, Tristin Lewis placed 32nd with a 16:55 and Yaretzi Sandoval placed 49th with a 19:30. Way to go Lady Jags!! Jose Sandoval ran a personal best with a 19:09 and placed third place! Outstanding job Jose!
Junior High girls and some of the 6th graders and one 5th grader ran and they did great! Coulter Reel (a 5th grader) ran a 14:56, if she was in 7th or 8th grade she would have placed 2nd. Karlie Van-Meter placed 4th with a 15:16, Morgan McCauley placed 6th with a 15:21. Abighail Jones, a sixth grader, ran a 16:20 and would've placed 13th if she was in 7th ir 8th grade. Same with Joliey Brawley, Aubrey O'Neil, and Kirsten Smith. Joliey ran a 18:57 and would've placed 35th, Aubrey O'Neil ran a 19:20 and would've placed 37th, and Kirsten Smith ran a 20:20 and would've placed 48th. Way to go Junior High!
And last but not least we have our Junior High boys. Blane Blount ran a 14:43 and placed 5th. Kaleb Bendle ran a 15:07 and placed 9th! Way to go!!
