Keeper of the Flame

The students of Guthrie High School met on Monday night to gather wood for their homecoming bonfire. There were two teams consisting of Seniors & Sophomores and Juniors & Freshmen. The Seniors & Sophomores started out strong with a trailer full of pallets, but the Junior & Freshmen team slowly caught up with constant lumber supply. On Wednesday night the school met for their annual Chili Cook-off and for the announcement of Keeper of the Flame. The Seniors & Sophomores had been narrowly beaten by the Juniors & Freshmen.
