March Student of the Month: Rachel Brendle

Rachel Brendle was selected as this months Junior High Student of the Month. Rachel is 12 years old and is a 6th grader at Guthrie. Her parents are Rhonda and Kevin Brendle, and she has one older brother, Kaleb Brendle. Rachel participates in UIL, Kids Praise Night, cheerleading and is very active in all Junior High athletics, but her favorite sport is basketball. One of her favorite classes is Mr. Wilson’s technology class, because she has the opportunity to create anything without being limited. Her main goal for Junior High is to become a more productive and valuable teammate in athletics. She looks up to Junior Gina Cheyne as a role model because she is a good teammate. When Rachel grows up, she wants to be a first grade teacher, because she enjoys working with little children. Congratulations Rachel! Guthrie is very proud of you.
