The Guthrie Jags ended their season with a 12-1 record with a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Throckmorton Greyhounds. The Jags had some great players and it showed when coaches released the District 9-A All-District Honors.
On the offensive side of the ball, Tucker Brendle received Offensive MVP, McClendon Hill received First team All-District Tight End, Dion Vasquez received First team All-District Wide Receiver, Graden Garrison received First team All-District center, Christian Rocha received First team All-District Quarterback and All-District Kicker, Landon Roberts received First team All-District Running Back.
On the defensive side of the ball, Landon Roberts received District MVP for Defense,Tucker Brendle received First team All-District Defensive Linemen, Dion Vasquez received First team All-District Cornerback, Zac O’Neal and Christian Rocha both received First team All-District Safeties. Graden Garrison and LT Sharp both received Second team All-District Defensive Linemen. Great job to all the Jaguars this season, it was a great season.
