1st Six Weeks High School Student Spotlight: Laura Wilson

Laura Wilson was another High School student selected as the student of the 1st six weeks. She is 17 years young and is a senior. Laura participates in U.I.L. and One Act Play.  While Laura is still in high school, her goals are to graduate Valedictorian or Salutatorian, but most importantly, to to be an influence to younger students. As of right now, Laura is planning to attend ACU and go into their nursing program. Some of Laura’s favorite memories are the One Act Play practices. “They were always fun, crazy and interesting.” As she leaves Guthrie in the near future, her advice to the younger kids is, “Be yourself, work hard, don't let the little things get you down, and have fun!” Everyone is very proud of Laura and her accomplishments. Congratulations.
