A few times each year, all students and teachers gather to focus on the pillars of the Guthrie Graduate Profile. We call this a school wide learning day because teachers and students are all learning alongside one another.
Friday's learning day focused most specifically on the pillar of being a productive and valuable team member. Students were assembled into groups containing both elementary and secondary students. They learned about being good team members by working together to search for clues and puzzle pieces in a scavenger hunt. Once all of their team's puzzle pieces were collected, they were able to assemble their puzzle. All students, young and old, were valuable contributors to their team's success.
The scavenger hunt concluded with a tailgate lunch to support our Jaguar football team.
