Teacher Laptop Upgrade Page
All GCSD teachers are eligible to upgrade their laptop computer every 24 months. In an attempt to further customize our teachers' technology options, teachers can choose WHAT device they want to upgrade to and choose WHEN they do the upgrade. Rather than requiring all teachers and staff to renew their devices at the same time, they'll now have a choice as to when they make the change. We're making this adjustment in the upgrade process to allow each of our teachers to get the most life out of their laptops. Some will be ready to upgrade right away, while others may want to stretch it out another few months.
If you are eligible now for an upgrade, you have two options:

option 1:
I want to keep what I have for now. If you like what you have and its working for you, you can keep using your existing laptop without interruption. If you choose not to upgrade your laptop right away, you'll always have the option of getting a new one with the next order. We will place orders on May 1 and December 15 of every year.

option 2:
I'm ready to upgrade now. If you are ready to upgrade now, you can trade in your old laptop for a new one. You'll need to let us know what type of device you'd like us to order for you. We place orders on May 1 and December 15 of every year. When your new laptop arrives, we'll help you transfer all of your existing data to the new laptop.
