Regional Cross Country shirts are available. Orders can be turned in to the office or you can e-mail your order to McKenzie Chisum at email@example.com. All order forms need to be turned in by 3:30 pm Friday, October 12th.
The Lil' Lady Jags traveled to Spur for the District Cross Country Meet on TuesdayThe Lil' Lady Jags came away with the District Championship! Individual results were Daylee Chisum 1st, Brylee Moore 3rd, Scout Braly 4th, Jaydee Foster 8th, Ella Jenkins 14th, Journey Johnson 18th, Wendy Uribe 20th, Rylee White 21st, Gracie Layton 29th, and Alanis Billings 30th.

The Guthrie Cross Country teams participated in the District meet Tuesday. The Varsity Lady Jags came away with a 2nd place finish and earned a trip to the Regional Cross Country Meet. Individual results were Coulter Reel 2nd, Brylee Smith 7th, Rachel Brendle 8th, Abigail Jones 12th, Mary Gilliland 23rd, Morgan McCauley 25th, and Sheridon Smith 29th.
The JV Lady Jags were Joley Braly 9th and Emily Rocha 19th.
The Jaguars came away with a 3rd place finish and earned a trip to the Regional Cross Country Meet. Individual results were Levi Jones 9th, Kaleb Brendle 10th, Riley Springer 18th, Damian Landini 21st, and Reid Freeman 22nd.
The JV Jaguars were Brandon Passman 1st.
Regional Cross Country will be held in San Angelo at Angelo State University on October 22, 2018. Good Luck Jags & Lady Jags!!
The High School Cheerleaders are hosting a PINK OUT OCTOBER party this month, to bring about awareness for breast cancer. You are all invited to participate! Fridays will be extra special! Let's see how PINK we can get...dress in pink, carry pink, drink pink, ...
We will also be sending home order forms for T-shirts.

Anthony Asher, son of Brian and Karen Asher, has written a juvenile book, Adventures of Rex the Police Dog (Book One): The Kidnapped Police Dog. He will be in the library, Wed. Sept. 26th from 10:30-1:30. Classes will formally be scheduled for a visit from 10:30-11:00 am, and informally from 12:15-1:30 pm. He will be free otherwise for impromptu visits. Everyone is welcome to come! Anthony will bring 18 copies of his book to autograph; the books cost $10.00 each. Copies of his book are also for sale on Amazon.
Mommy & Me Programs are on Thursdays 10:30-11:00 am. You are invited to eat lunch in cafeteria and join other Moms and kiddos in the "Mirrored Room."

In the interest of safety for our students, GCSD will have all outside doors locked during the school day. Please enter the school through the administration office. This includes library entry. Thank you for working with us to create a safe learning environment.
The 2017-2018 Jaguar Yearbooks have arrived from the publisher and are available for purchase. They are $25 each and can be purchased in the GCSD business office from Cynthia Fox or Sherri Adams. We can accept cash or a check made out to Guthrie Common School District.
